The error of weekly quests with duplicate characters

The weekly quest "kill X zombies playing for Carol" does not count if you use Guardian Carol. It's the same situation with Maggie. If I'm not mistaken, the murders of Maggie the shooter are not counted there. There will be no proof, I have already completed the mission, But I have encountered it repeatedly

    I am not sure, but maybe the reason is, that "Carol" (scout), "Guardian Carol" (hunter), "Maggie" (hunter) and "Hilltop Maggie" (shooter) are different characters in the game?

    PS: only for example, there are different badge-bonus for "Glenn" (scout) and "Riot Gear Glenn" (bruiser) as a teammate too...

    When any of the "double" characters come up in the Daily Quests, it is NEVER specified as to which one. I thought Next Games stated (back in the day) that they were going to fix that so both versions would work. Guess not.  :|

    We have listed this feedback and are looking into it.

    Meanwhile, it IS specified; if your mission says 'Carol', it's Carol. If your mission says 'Guardian Carol', it's Guardian Carol. You can see the difference if you click the hero's name in the survivor list. Scout Carol is named Carol Peletier, 'Carol', while Guardian Carol is named Guardian Carol.
